Students that attend our training programs are from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds, including college students, college graduates, high school students, those with learning disabilities, ESL students, new immigrants, and older adults that have been out of school for many decades. Our student immigrant population includes dentists, physicians, nurses, attorneys, and even a chemist.

This diversity increases the value and learning opportunities of our training programs. Students and staff are encouraged to share their knowledge and to learn from each other. The director, Martha Hamm, learns something new from every class of student. At the training center, you will often hear Martha sharing with students and staff new things that she has learned from both current and former students. Martha encourages staff and students to do the same.
